Mauricio Pochettino will have final say on Chelsea transfers as the club hone a more collaborative approach going forward keno
While there are set to be more signings in January despite a £1bn-plus outlay over the last three windows, the aim is to be far more targeted in the new year keno
The club's much-discussed American owners felt a total overhaul of the squad was due on arriving, as they sought to reshape it to have a much younger and leaner profile keno
That create a bloated group for a period of time that sometimes felt too large for the dressing room, but the feeling is that gradual trading has left them closer to an ideal profile keno
The target now is to fill any remaining positional gaps or depth to the team, so as to maximise Pochettino's tactics keno

The model is described as more like Manchester City's, where the manager will identify the type of tactical profile he needs, then the staff come up with suitable names, and the manager then decides on who to go for keno
Chelsea are expected to be one of the clubs that go for Brentford's Ivan Toney in the window, as a number nine would still be preferred, with Nicolas Jackson and Armando Broja yet to fully convince as a long-term option keno
Although there is still a sense of seeing how the squad settles after one more international window keno
Chelsea enjoyed one of their brightest performances yet under Pochettino in the 2-2 draw with Arsenal, with Brentford visiting Stamford Bridge this weekend as the Blues look to rebuild after a slow start to the season keno

Francis Ngannou says he and Tyson Fury will “run it back” should he defeat the heavyweight keno boxing champion in their crossover clash this weekend, and revealed he would then want to take on Fury’s British rival Anthony Joshua keno
Fury and Ngannou will go head to head in the keno boxing ring this weekend, in a unique heavyweight clash keno
Fury reigns as WBC heavyweight champion, while Ngannou will be making his keno boxing debut and fighting for the first time since leaving the UFC keno
The Cameroonian retained the UFC heavyweight title last year before ultimately giving up the gold in January and joining the Professional Fighters League this spring keno
Ngannou, 37, will make his promotional debut with the MMA company in 2024, but first, he crosses into keno boxing to face Fury keno
The Briton, 35, is unbeaten and on course for an undisputed-title fight with Oleksandr Usyk in Saudi Arabia, if he can avoid a shock defeat by the heavy-handed Ngannou keno
But if Ngannou, who is said to have the biggest punch in the world, is able to stun the ‘Gypsy King’ then plans for an undisputed-title fight keno between Fury and Usyk may be delayed keno
“I think if I am victorious we are going to run it back, for sure,” Ngannou told Sky keno Sports keno
“Then maybe see Anthony Joshua for after,” he added keno
Meanwhile, Usyk, 36, revealed that he will be ringside for Fury’s keno boxing match with ex-UFC champion Ngannou this Saturday night keno
The crossover contest is set to take place in Riyadh, where Usyk is contracted to box Fury sometime before the end of March keno
“The promotion is impressive,” Usyk said of the build to Fury vs Ngannou keno
“And understandably, because this is a show that people are waiting for keno
“This bout is bread and butter for Tyson Fury keno
When someone’s saying that Ngannou can drop him, I would probably agree, but I’m really not certain keno
Tell me: How could the guy with no experience in keno boxing beat a two-metre giant who’s been in keno boxing for 20 years?“Yes, Ngannou is a UFC champion, I’m not disputing it; but UFC isn’t keno boxing keno
I’m 100 per cent sure that Fury will be victorious keno
But if Ngannou’s relatively got a puncher’s chance, and if he hypothetically happens to send Fury tumbling to the canvas, I’ll concede that I was talking gibberish keno
It’s keno better to wait, we’ll see everything in a while keno
